“This work bases upon the moment of a rockslide. Talking with people who lived through such an experience bothered me – in each case a rock fall was the setting off.

They saw the dark stones against the clearness of the sky like meteorites falling down on them. At the beginning quickly, then more slowly, in slow motion. The trigger of this phenomenon is a rush of adrenaline in the brain, caused by that fall and resulting in a sharper perception. Similar to a “superman moment”, when balance, clarity and weightlessness become absolute.” - Esther Mathis
